The article is devoted to the problems of staff motivation during the period of coronavirus infection. The aim of the study is to study the features of the motivation function in personnel management in the context of a pandemic. The key areas of motivation of the organization's personnel in the conditions of a pandemic are considered. It is concluded that organizations should use both economic and non-economic incentives to motivate employees with the increasing role of the latter. At the same time, internal incentives for motivational behavior of personnel should be taken into account. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, this will allow us to retain highly qualified and motivated employees to remain competitive in an unstable environment.
