Features of the national innovation system of the United Kingdom

In this article the authors consider and analyze the features of the UK national innovation system. The United Kingdom is highly positioned in the ranking of the most innovative countries of the world. The authors especially emphasize the achievements of the UK in the scientific and educational field. The main directions of innovation policy and instruments of state financial support for innovations were also considered.
