Features of inheritance of some economically valuable signs of soy

The article presents an overview of the inheritance of some economically valuable traits of soy. The article presents the importance of soybeans and their acreage in the world's leading countries for the cultivation of this crop, as well as in Russia and the Rostov region. Localized genes that determine the development of certain morphological, biochemical and biological features of this culture are shown. The need to continue studying the inheritance of economically valuable traits of soy and the creation of new varieties of this crop, more adapted to the growing conditions in the southern regions of Russia, is justified.
