Specific features of nomination of spiritual creatures in the myths of the Ancient People's Republic of China

The article deals with the concept and role of the myths in the Chinese linguistic culture. There is determined the theoretical basis of the studies of the Chinese myths. The authors consider the peculiarities of the naming units of the spiritual creatures and the frequency of their usage in the myths of the Ancient People's Republic of China.
