Features of ensuring the personal safety of employees of the internal affairs bodies in the suppression of uncoordinated public events

The author considers the actual problem of ensuring the personal safety of law enforcement officers during mass public events of an unauthorized nature. The most effective ways of protecting the life and health of employees in conditions of mass congestion of people are given, while taking into account the specificity of operational and service tasks facing them. In addition, the article reflects a set of factors contributing to the personal safety of police officers or having a destructive effect on it, which the author divided into psychological, organizational, tactical, logistical with a detailed analysis of each. The author also touches on the most common problems that employees have when ensuring personal safety at mass public events, and outlines ways to solve these problems, taking into account the professional training and retraining of employees in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
