Features of ensuring labor protection on the subway

The issue of improving the labor safety of Moscow metro drivers is one of the pressing problems in the development of the Moscow transport system in the next five to ten years. As stated in the Transport Strategy until 2030, the main goal of the state in ensuring the functioning and development of the transport system is to improve the quality of life and health of citizens, economic growth and increase the competitiveness of the national economy. In this regard, the importance of caring for the health and safe working conditions of transport industry employees, especially key personnel - electric train drivers, is increasing. The article discusses the development of underground electric transport with the aim of further improving the working conditions of electric train operators (metro drivers). An analysis of the regulatory framework governing the relationship between employer and employee at the State Unitary Enterprise "Moscow Metro" was carried out. The main harmful/dangerous working conditions in the workplace for this category of employees are presented.
