Particular features of anthroponyms formation (comparative analysis of Russian and English traditions)

The article addresses traditions of personal proper names appellation in the Russian and English languages, surveys the history of denominational traditions for names, surnames, patronymics, along with methods of name adaptation under the rules of another language. The comparative analysis and studies of the hurdles that might arise in translation for speakers of other languages are performed.
