The features of functioning of budgetary institutions of Ukraine are considered. The peculiarities of the assessment of the financial state of public finance institutions are outlined. The financial activity of the Institute of Agroecology and Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are evaluated. The financial stability of the budget organization is estimated. Absolute and relative indicators of financial stability are analyzed.
