The task of the head of a higher educational institution is to organize the management process in such a way as to ensure the fullest use of all available resources and to achieve high educational outcomes. Now the evaluation of the effectiveness of educational activities is becoming one of the main problems for management of a higher educational institution. The article considers innovative approaches to the evaluation of performance indicators of higher education institutions.
