Features of efficiency and performance assessment of social policy programs of subjects of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the problems of identifying the degree of efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of social support programs on the example of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that make up the Southern Federal District. The authors come to the conclusion that the assessment of these two key parameters of the implementation of social policy is carried out by comparing the actually obtained intermediate and final results and the planned indicators of the provision of public services in the framework of the implementation of regional social programs.
