Features of the organization and conduct of natural resource auctions

The article discusses the features of organizing and conducting natural resource auctions for the right to conclude a water use agreement and for the sale of land plots. Based on the results of their analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that it is advisable to replace auctions, in which the decisive criterion for the provision of natural objects for use is price, with a competitive procedure for concluding contracts, the terms of which, in addition to price, include requirements for the quality of work related to water use and land use for various purposes. Such an order will maximally contribute to environmental conservation and efficient use of natural resources.
