Despite the processes of digitalization of the economy and society, which lead to the digital transformation of business models, print media retain their importance. At the same time, in the strategic management of their development, new trends of a general economic and sectoral nature should be considered. The article analyzes the trends in the development of the media industry that have an impact on the strategic development of the printed media.
