Translation peculiarities of youth slang from English into Russian

The article contains information about youth slang and its position in colloquial speech layer; also, it shows the ways of translation of youth slang from English into Russian based on language basis of the American series “Glee”. The author tells about the ways of translation, which had been offered by authorized theoretical scientists and analyses their practical usage based on the translation made by Lostfilm Company.
