Features of translations of texts written in belles-lettres style when using electronic translators (based on the novel by Guy de Maupassant Une vie)

This article discusses the concept of translation of texts, as well as online translators, their meaning and role at present, and their quality. Particular attention is paid to the variety of electronic translators. Several online translators are offered and a study is being conducted on which of them gives the most approximate and correct version of the translation of a fragment from a literary text from French into Russian.
