Gender features of a diet of students living in adverse climatic conditions of Far North are studied. The use of the greatest volume of food in the second half of day irrespective to sex is noted, especially students have a habit to use food between the main meals that was authentically connected with the increased values of body weight index of a male. More often male students watch the diet (21% against 8%). Low frequency of using soups, salads, fruit and high frequency of using the high-calorific products, eggs, sandwiches, pies and sweet carbonated drinks is noted. Most of students use a lot of a fried, smoked, greasy and spicy food, don't exclude the regular use of "fast food" from a diet. The vegetarianism has no wide circulation among the students who are trained in Nizhnevartovsk.
