Features of professional career planning by students of medical university

The article presents an analysis of planning of future professional career of 4th year students of the medical faculty of a medical university. The choice of specialization, planning of further training in residency according to the demand for various medical specialties in the labor market, formation of strategy to achieve success in further professional activity are significant issues for students. We found out that despite all the difficulties in training, a significant part of medical students plans to work in their chosen scientific field. The majority of respondents after graduation see their further development in obtaining professional knowledge in residency. Medical students plan to choose a place of work, weighing many factors and trying to find a balance between their personal preferences and objective conditions.
