In this article the author analyses the features of filling of supervisory complaint. Also the author mentions about the history of development of supervisory proceedings during the history. Judicial and extrajudicial types of complaints are analyzed. The issues of control and supervision mechanism’s functioning at the pre-trial stages of criminal and civil proceeding are considered.
