This scientific article is devoted to the study of the features of preparing senior students with intellectual disabilities to write written, creative works. In the course of the study, the author of the article substantiates the features of the psychophysical development of children with mental retardation, as well as describes the main methods and techniques for preparing older students with mental retardation to write written, creative works.
