Remote sensing of Earth is widely used for the purpose of mapping of agricultural, forest grounds and lands of settlements. Application-oriented use of materials of space and aerial photography develops. For image acquisition different film-making systems among which personnel photographic cameras are selected are used. For achievement geometrically of exact results of shooting of the camera subject to periodic calibration in the course of which determine parameters of a projection of the pictures received with their help. Calibration of personnel photo cameras represents rather difficult and not always single-digit process. Results of research of methods of calibration of pictures in the conditions of the flat proving ground are provided. Calibration is possible if coordinates of centers of photography or a difference of heights of photography of pictures are known. Researchers are executed by strict and mild methods. It is shown what a strict method in the conditions of flat terrain doesn’t allow to find rough errors in determination of coordinates of centers of photography. It leads to distortion of results of calibration of photo cameras. Sources of errors in coordinates of centers of photograph y are errors of determination of parameters of an eccentricity of a photo camera of rather satellite antenna. The mild method is almost independent of the accuracy of parameters of an eccentricity. It is offered to execute aerial photograph of a polygon from two heights, to determine the actual coordinates of centers of photography by a mild method, and parameters of calibration of pictures - strict methods.
