Specifics of political and social-economic advancement of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR from 1985 to 1991

The paper considered the issues associated with drastic changes in the political and social-economic domains of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1985 to 1991. The study examined the factors giving rise to informal public and political movement groups. A comparative analysis of the social and political situation in Chechnya at the beginning and to the end of the XX century. The author substantiated her position on impact of the economic crisis on deterioration of the social component at CHIASSR during the Perestroyka period.
