This article examines the situation of developing countries in the global fashion market in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The factors that determine the current position of developing countries in the world fashion market are highlighted. The characteristic features of the position of developing countries in relation to value chains are considered. A study of changes in the position of firms in developing countries during the development of crisis phenomena in the clothing market due to the pandemic was carried out.
