Peculiarities of obtaining evidentiary information with the use of special knowledge: problems of legal form

Some methodological aspects of using various forms of special knowledge in proving a case are considered in the article.The authors come to the conclusion that classifying the use of special knowledge into procedural and non-procedural forms is out-of-date and makes it difficult to search for new legal means and ways of involving various kinds of special knowledge in evidentiary activities. An updated approach to the classification of forms of the use of special knowledge in Criminalistics, Criminal and Administrative Procedure is presented in the article.
