The article discusses the features of increasing the safety of interfield gas pipelines in cold climate areas in Western Siberia. It is noted that in modern Russia the most common factors of corrosion of interfield gas pipelines in Western Siberia are: water cut of the product, flow mode and structure, amount of solid particles, hydrochloric acid treatment, quality of pipe metal. It was revealed that the most widely used methods are electrochemical protection of interfield gas pipelines, at the same time heat treatment of devices, pipes and welds, application of corrosion-resistant materials, protection of equipment with anti-corrosion coating (galvanic galvanizing, application of paints and varnishes and polymer compositions) and application of corrosion inhibitors are used. It was concluded that as a result of active development of modern methods of ensuring safety of interfield gas pipelines, the situation in the fight against corrosion and ruptures of collecting collectors has improved.
