The article discusses the features of legal awareness in states with different forms of government. There are monarchical and republican types of legal awareness. The paper reveals the essence and content of these types by providing their basic ideas. Despite the fundamental differences between the identified types the author concludes about their functional similarity (they function as legitimation and right formation).
