Features of the legal regulation of cryptocurrency: a foreign response

Features of the legal regulation of cryptocurrency in some foreign countries are considered in the article. Different approaches to the legal regulation of this economic and legal phenomenon in the legislation of foreign countries are studied and as a result four groups of countries having certain features of legal regulation of cryptocurrency are distinguished. The existing in international practice positions are based on four main approaches to the concept of cryptocurrency: as to cash/currency, means of payment or exchange, goods or other property, or as currency surrogate.
