Features of the legal status of a minor in the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the validity of the legislator establishing the boundaries of criminal liability of minors. The official statistical data reflecting the dynamics of the commission of crimes by persons of minor and minor age are analyzed. The opinions of scientists regarding the legal status of a minor in the administration of justice are given. The author gives a brief analysis to the sentencing of minors.
