Features of the legal status of the victim in criminal proceedings

The article examines the legal status of the victim in criminal proceedings, analyzes the rights and obligations of this participant and reveals the legal guarantees and measures of state protection of the victim. It is concluded that by using the status of the victim, a person can assert his violated rights, as well as support the prosecution in a criminal case.
