The article examines modern methods of operational control in weightlifting. Considering that the assessment of the technique of performing exercises in the educational and training process has qualitative nature, an inexpensive, universal complex is proposed that allows an quantitative and qualitative assessment of movement and provides a deeper understanding of the "sensations" of the athlete in various phases while performing an exercise, which will allow for timely and effective correction of technique at various stages of sports training. The requirements for such systems and the necessary components for their implementation are discussed.
