Features of the use of digital resources, blockchain technology and smart contracts in binding legal relations with the participants of non-profit organizations

The purpose of the study is to establish the specifics of the use of digital resources, blockchain technology and smart contracts in binding legal relations with the participants of non-profit organizations, identify problematic issues and propose ways to resolve them. The methodological foundation of this scientific article is both the general scientific method of legal cognition of digital reality, and special methods of synthesis and analogy, formal logic, comparative law and others, including private scientific methods aimed at the formation of knowledge regarding the features of the use of digital resources and platforms in the activities of non-profit organizations. The author comes to the conclusion that despite the emergence of legal regulation in many areas related to the digitalization of economic relations, the rapid adaptation of the commercial sector to the rapid changes in economic relations, the process of adaptation of non-profit organizations to the existing new technological realities is quite slow. Non-profit organizations, in addition to the legal basis for operating in changing conditions, as the study showed, need to gradually introduce digital technologies into their activities, acquire the necessary skills and personnel to work in this area, other technical components, and, importantly, financing. We are convinced that non-profit organizations should switch to the use of modern tools in their activities in order to work effectively. It is concluded that one of the characteristic advantages of using blockchain is to reduce operating costs and accelerate the flow of funds in the activities of non-profit organizations. That is, due to the use of this technology, they will be delivered to recipients in an accelerated mode, which is quite important when providing assistance in connection with a serious health condition, when it is critically important. The article is characterized by sufficient originality and has value, because the essential features of the implementation of digital resources in the field of obligations of non-profit organizations, blockchain technologies are determined. It is determined that the process of digitalization of the entire economic turnover is currently underway, modern technologies are being introduced that have a direct impact on the development of public relations, well-established, traditional legal institutions are being transformed, in particular, the status of non-profit organizations. It should be recognized that, unfortunately, Russian legislation currently does not fully meet the challenges of effective use of digital technology opportunities within the framework of non-profit organizations, despite the fact that this area of legal regulation will largely determine the prospects for further development of digital legal relations.
