Features of the use of physical force in the detention of an offender, provided for by the Federal Law “On Police”

The article is devoted to the analysis of the legal institution of detention in Russian legislation. The article examines various interpretations of detention in administrative, criminal procedural law and the Federal Law "On Police", emphasizing the lack of a clear definition in the latter. The article also examines the difficulties encountered by police officers during detention, related to the physical characteristics of the detainees and the need for appropriate training of employees to ensure the safety of all participants in the process.
