The article focuses on the assessment of the situation regarding the application of housing law to mobilized citizens and members of their families was carried out. An analysis of the benefits and social security measures introduced and currently in force for mobilized citizens and members of their families in relation to the observance of housing rights has been carried out. The analysis showed that, taking into account the importance of the tasks being solved during a special military operation and the need to provide a reliable rear for its participants, the legislator can continue to expand additional measures of support for both the combatants themselves and their family members. It seems possible to introduce a complete moratorium on the payment of housing and communal services related to the maintenance of a single living space for single citizens taking part in the special military operation, and to expand measures regarding the provision of mortgage credit holidays for mobilized citizens or their dependents. The article identifies a number of problems in the field of housing law of mobilized citizens related to rental housing, participation in corporate housing disputes, disposal of shared property, bankruptcy of an individual, suspension of the limitation period. It is concluded that the judicial practice on resolving various issues of housing law in relation to mobilized people and members of their families has not been formed. However, resolving problematic issues is extremely important from the standpoint of respecting the interests of those mobilized in relation to the maintenance and ownership of housing and shared ownership. Therefore, there is an urgent need to change the current norms of civil and housing legislation in order to resolve pressing issues that arose with the start of the special military operation and the partial mobilization of citizens.
