In recent years, the attention of the state and civil society has increased significantly towards the problems of creating an enabling, humane and secure environment for development and socialization of children. Mediation is widely and successfully used in the modern world, especially in countries with a high legal culture and a developed civil society, to virtually all types of disputes, from family to commercial. In educational organizations, the establishment of the school mediation aims to protect the rights of children and create conditions for the formation of a safe space, equal opportunities and protection of their interests. This is due to the fact that the Russian Federation introduces international norms and standards, methods and technologies of working with children. The Russian model of the organization of restorative mediation in the educational organization is presented in the form of School services of reconciliation. They include representatives of teachers, of administration of educational organizations, parents, students themselves. In their work, the services of school mediation interact with the organs and organizations of system of prevention of neglect and delinquency, custody and guardianship, additional education. In the school services of reconciliation restorative mediation is used, the main concept is to develop solutions by the conflicting parties that is not reflected in the adoption of binding decisions. These services will contribute to resolving different types of conflicts in schools and personal growth of students and also serve as a form of prevention of offenses and crimes of minors.
