The purpose of the work is to consider the problems of recognition and enforcement of international investment arbitration awards made against India. Recognition and enforcement of international arbitration awards is the ultimate goal of dispute resolution. It should be noted that since initially legal acts were developed and adopted to ensure commercial arbitration, which is clearly predominant in the modern international business world, and the recognition and enforcement of awards in this ca-tegory of cases, a sufficient amount of practice has accumulated in the enforcement of awards of international commercial arbitration in various jurisdictions, which cannot be said about the practice of recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in investment disputes.
