The Article is devoted to the study of the relationship between professional self-determination of an individual and his temperamental characteristics. The methodological and theoretical basis of the research is based on the works of such outstanding Russian scientists as N. S. Pryazhnikov, L. I. Bozhovich, L. S. Rubinstein Vygotsky, etc.the aim of the research is to experimentally identify the relationship between professional self-determination of an individual and his temperamental characteristics. We assumed that the choice of profession is related to the temperamental characteristics of the individual. In the course of research to identify the relationship between professional self-determination of an individual and his temperamental characteristics, the following methods were used: theoretical analysis, survey, qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The study was conducted on the basis OF mbou SOSH No. 6 named after V. F. Margelov, Krasnodar, which was attended by 34 students in grades 10-11, 21 of them boys and 13 girls. The respondents are 16-17 years old.
