Features of consideration by magistrates of civil cases for the protection of consumer rights

Resume: The article is aimed at studying the peculiarities of the procedural aspects of the consideration of consumer protection cases by a magistrate. The magistrate has direct jurisdiction over consumer protection cases, if the cost of the claim does not exceed 100,000 rubles. However, this category of cases has recently been considered in a simplified manner, namely, without summoning the parties. Therefore, it is very important to investigate the issues of the implementation of consumer rights to protection, within the framework of simplified proceedings before a magistrate.
