A characteristic feature of the modern process of globalization taking place in the world economic space is that the main driving force of the development of a competitive organization remains a person. It is the personnel of the organization that forms the human capital, on which the main business processes of the management subsystem depend. Based on this, when developing an organization’s development strategy, company managers need to focus on human capital. Based on this, the company’s management in the process of developing an organization’s development strategy is very important to understand what drives an employee, what his needs are, what motivates him and what his values are. The spiral dynamics of K. Graves is designed to answer these questions, which allows us to determine the evolutionary stage of the organization’s development and, based on this, it is possible to build an organization’s development strategy that meets the requirements of the internal and external environment. The conducted research allowed us to summarize the theoretical and methodological views and practical experience of implementing the principles of the turquoise organization in Russia and abroad. Thus, understanding the specifics of the functioning of organizations of this type allows organizations to build an effective strategy for the development of the company, which will be understandable not only to top management, but also to ordinary employees.
