The article is devoted to the features of development of ecological strategy in Russian industrial companies. The premise for recognizing the need for a strategic approach for environmental protection is revealed. The author identifies the features and difficulties concerning developing and adopting an ecological strategy in Russian industrial enterprises. Recommendations for more effective development and adaptation of ecological strategy in industrial companies are proposed.
