Liver fibrosis development in forming of dystrophic degenerative mesenchymal derivatives changes in local chronic inflammatory process was investigated in 12 male Wistar rats with secondary disorganization connective tissue model. 6 intact animals were used as a control. Findings suggest possibility that additional fibrosis development mechanism exists at the presence of focal persisting infection. Besides classic variant of fibrosis development realized through stellate cells activation by macrofages we suppose alternative mechanism that consists in fibroblasts activation in portal tracts by means of mast cells.
