The article describes the features of the development and segmentation of the Russian labor market, and highlights the specific properties of such a product as labor. The article reflects the factors that affect the dynamics of labor demand, as well as factors that affect the formation of the labor market in Russia as a whole. Segmentation of the labor market is considered on the basis of three main principles. The authors draw conclusions about the future of the labor market in Russia.
