Features of development of social interaction skills in senior pupils at small schools

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the development of social skills among senior pupils in small schools, focusing on the importance of social interaction in the learning process for the development of personal qualities and social adaptation. It is emphasized that limited opportunities for social interaction in such schools create unique challenges and opportunities for the development of communication skills. We have analyzed the existing methods and programs aimed at improving social interaction and evaluated their applicability and effectiveness in small schools environment. Review of research papers, publications, and educational programs implemented has allowed us to identify research gaps and suggest focal areas for future work. As a result of the student survey, we have identified the key aspects of social interaction, such as communication skills, empathy, conflict resolution, ability to cooperate and social adaptation, and in accordance with them given recommendations for improving educational practice and extracurricular activities.
