Features of the development of regional employment for blue-collar occupations: a year since COVID-19

The article analyzes the features of employment in the Ulyanovsk region for blue-collar occupations in difficult epidemiological conditions. Based on statistical data, supplemented by materials of expert interviews with specialists of employment services, as well as content analysis of vacancies in blue-collar professions, published on the regional pages of the sites "Work in Russia", Avito, HeadHunter and posted in the regional print media "Mosaic", as well as “1000 vacancies”, — the dynamics of the processes occurring in the regional labor market in the period from January 2020 to May 2021 is considered.
