Features of the development of speed abilities in students with mental retardation at the initial stage of sports training

Research on the development of speed abilities in students with mental retardation at the initial stage of sports training is an urgent task, since such children require a special approach in the learning and training process. We analyzed the theoretical foundations of the psychophysical characteristics of students with mental retardation. The article presents the means and methods of organizing classes, as well as factors that determine the success of these classes and their focus.
