The article discusses the features of the development of the modern Russian market oftelevision advertising; its prospects are outlined. It presents comparative characteristicsof the main stages of the domestic advertising development on television from 1960sto the present. The paper specifies video ads creation in Russia. It is shown how theformat of advertising on television changed at different stages of its development.The efficiency of Russian video advertising both on television and on the Internet isevaluated.
