The peculiarities of the virtual Buddhist communities development in the Runet

The article analyzes the current state and peculiarities of the development of virtual Buddhist communities of the Russian-speaking Internet segment. The authors consider the specifics of the manifestation of social activity of believers in groups and communities as a new form of social interaction, which has its own norms, specifics, as well as development tendencies. The research interest is the identification of features of the Buddhist communities of the Runet in modern conditions.
