Implementation features of public-private partnerships in education in Russian and international practice

The article is dedicated to the analysis of implementation of public-private partnership (PPP) in the field of education in Russia and abroad. The study is to identify the features of the application of PPP instrument in education. For that reason different approaches to the definition of public-private partnership were considered, and scheme of the relevant mechanism was illustrated. In addition, the authors have compiled a classification of foreign forms of PPP in education, which reflects the range of approaches from a number of experts with regard to this aspect. On its basis, a comparative analysis of existing forms with corresponding analogues present in Russia was organized. Thus, the key features of Russian and foreign experience in implementing public-private partnership in education were identified. The analysis results can be further widely used in applied research on relevant topics.
