Features of the implementation of the electoral right of citizens with restricted possibilities of its health: in the context of integration into the election process of new voting technologies

The article provides a general overview of individual pilot projects aimed at realizing by citizens with disabilities of their electoral rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Revealing the importance of creating the necessary conditions for the practical implementation of the unconditional observance of the constitutional principle of equal opportunities in the elections, the author focuses on the need to integrate new technical solutions into the domestic electoral process that contribute to more active involvement of this category of the electorate in solving important issues of representative democracy.
