This article presents an analysis of the evolutionary changes in China’s national security system, with a focus on the latest regulatory documents and strategic decisions made in 2024 and the first half of 2025. The study includes a comparative analysis of the conceptual provisions of the White Paper of May 12, 2025 with similar doctrinal documents of 2015, 2019 and 2023, identifying key trends in the development of defense policy, the tech-nology sector, and artificial intelligence. The theoretical basis of the work is the works of domestic experts on China’s national security issues, supplemented by up-to-date data from the first half of 2025. The results of the study demonstrate a significant transformation in the approaches of the Chinese leadership: in the military sphere, there is a transition from an administrative and supervisory model to an active combat strategy, and in the information space, there is a desire for a technological breakthrough in the development and global leadership of artificial intel-ligence. China’s ambitious goal is highlighted, not only to provide protection from external challenges, but also to take the position of a key architect of the new world order.
