Features of the implementation of the principle of inviolability of the home in the context of expanding the powers of police officers (issues of legal regulation and practice)

Introduction: the authors discuss certain state coercion measures taken by police relating to the restriction of certain human rights and freedoms. Materials and Methods: the authors used comparative, legal and logical analysis methods. Materials were legislation of Russia, and scientific works. Results: principle of inviolability of the home is a system of constitutional, criminal, criminal procedural norms, and civil law norms containing guarantees of protection of the right to inviolability of the home, rules and procedures to ensure the legitimacy and validity of the implementation by the internal affairs bodies investigations, execution of procedural coercive measures, and investigation in a home. Discussion and Conclusions: the procedure for the implementation of the right of entry into the home of police officers is proposed, taking into account the changes made in the legislation. In addition, proposals for improving the current mechanism of police entry into the home are formulated.
