Features of voltage regulation using static capacitor batteries

The article reflects the main features of voltage regulation and reactive power compensation at an enterprise using banks of static capacitors. The operational features of static capacitor banks are analyzed. The basic connection diagrams of compensating devices for various groups of production equipment are considered. A comparative analysis of the use of static compensator batteries with other common methods of reactive power compensation was carried out. The positive and negative aspects of using static compensator batteries in enterprises have been identified. Conclusions were also drawn regarding the rationality of using static compensator batteries in enterprises.
