Peculiarities of regulation of legal relations in the sphere of surrogacy

The need for improving the legal regulation of legal relations in the sphere of surrogacy is given reasoning in the article. The authors come to the conclusion that the legislative consolidation of the surrogacy process has resulted in an increase in crimes related to the sale of children under the guise of making surrogacy agreements. The criteria for distinguishing between a punishable act aimed at the sale of a child and lawful actions for the implementation of human reproductive rights through the of surrogacy procedure are determined in article. In conclusion, the authors formulate some proposals for changing the legislation regulating legal relations in the sphere of surrogacy.
